Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information PriceHub may collect, how we use it, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you when you use our website and services.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to PriceHub websites, accounts, saved products, price alerts and related services that link to this Policy. It does not govern third-party stores or websites that you visit from PriceHub; those services have their own privacy practices.

2. Information we may collect

Depending on how you use PriceHub, we may collect information you provide directly and information generated when you use the service.

  • Account information, such as your name, email address and authentication provider identifiers when you sign in.
  • Saved products, price-alert settings and other preferences linked to your account.
  • Technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, language, approximate location derived from IP, request logs and security events.
  • Usage information such as pages viewed, searches, clicks, interactions and referral information.
  • Messages or other information you send when contacting us.

3. How we use information

We use information to operate PriceHub, provide requested features, protect the service and understand how it is used.

  • Create and manage accounts and authentication.
  • Save products and deliver or manage price alerts.
  • Provide comparison, navigation and personalization features.
  • Detect abuse, fraud, security incidents and technical problems.
  • Measure performance, troubleshoot errors and improve products and content.

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the service, maintaining security, resolving disputes and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information and the reason it is held.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or alteration. No internet service or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about certain personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also manage account preferences, saved products and alerts through available PriceHub controls.

  • You can stop using PriceHub at any time.
  • You may disable non-essential cookies through available consent controls or browser settings where applicable.
  • Requests concerning personal data may require identity verification before we can act on them.

11. Children

PriceHub is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children where parental authorization is required by applicable law. If we learn that information was collected in a manner that does not comply with applicable requirements, we will take appropriate steps.

Service providers may process information in countries other than the country in which you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers under applicable law.

We may update this Policy as PriceHub, our technology or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on this page with the effective date shown above.

Analytics and regional choices

PriceHub uses Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager to understand traffic and use of the service. For visitors identified by our hosting infrastructure as being in Israel, analytics measurement starts automatically when the site loads and no analytics-consent banner is shown. It measures page and product views, catalog selections, submitted searches and store-offer clicks. Google advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalization remain disabled.

We do not send your PriceHub account email, PriceHub user ID, authentication data, retailer destination URL or arbitrary free-text searches to Google Analytics. Unrecognized free-text searches are replaced with [redacted]. Google Analytics may use first-party _ga cookies and related identifiers for measurement. Event-level retention is configured for 14 months.

For visitors in regions where consent is required for this analytics processing, PriceHub keeps analytics disabled until the required choice is made. Vercel Analytics remains a separate operational measurement tool. PriceHub also records store redirects on its server through /go/ independently of Google Analytics; these records indicate a redirect, not a purchase or completed order.
